Founded in 2010 by Hervé Schopfer, Tavillon Bois specialises in wood craftsmanship and renovations to roofs and facades.
Tavillon Bois are past masters of tavillonnage and wood craftsmanship, faithful to the traditions of the canton of Vaud and its heritage. The business applies traditional artisan techniques in wood craftsmanship to both old or new roofs and facades, perpetuating the traditional skills of the tavillonneur.
Tavillon Bois operates throughout the Château-d'Oex region, and more widely across the whole of Switzerland and abroad (France and Italy).
Tavillon Bois works under the charter of the French-speaking Swiss Association of Tavillonneurs (ART)..
